Prepare a 2-year "iSTEM Zone" project for Po Leung Kuk
Our team went to attend the opening ceremony of Po Leung Kuk iSTEM Zone. We are preparing a two-year STEM Project for Po Leung Kuk, sponsored by Po Leung Kuk and Rotary Club. The purpose is to provide STEM teaching to Po Leung Kuk schools, from kindergartens to elementary schools.
This time we used VR and mechanical vehicles to design home safety and traffic safety education courses. The staff of the Po Leung Kuk Centre can take our courses to the school to teach students. In addition, we will also train a class of students so that they can learn how to write programs by themselves, and show their works to everyone after the completion of the iSTEM Zone Project.
Was invited to the annual MakerClub Fair Open Day of the Productivity Council
We set up a booth at the Productivity Council to introduce our STEM courses, which attracted many parents and children to try out, and some school teachers came to inquire about the STEM services of the school. The scene was very lively and very popular! 😄👍
A two-day STEM workshop held between China and Hong Kong with the New Home Association
The Sino-Hong Kong Exchange STEM workshop held with the New Homeland Association for two consecutive days was just completed in January. Every child is very interested in STEM. Before this workshop, they did not know much about STEM courses or had little knowledge. After two days of experience and practice, children have mastered basic programming skills and can use their brains to make mini games. Their comprehension and creativity learned faster than we thought. Although it was only a short two-day experience class, six STEM courses have been introduced: mbot, micro:bit, VR & AR, AppInventor, Minecraft Education and TELLO EDU Programming the drone. I hope I will have the opportunity to cooperate with Xinjiayuan next time!

Seeing the kids having fun, my colleagues in my local group are so inspired!
On-campus courses , multiple teaching strategies
The unique teaching method of our center uses multiple teaching strategies to design classroom activities in line with the learning styles of different students to enhance students' interest in learning and stimulate students to participate in classroom learning. Even primary school students can write virtual reality programs and animations. It used to require college students or years of computer experience to do it. Through our courses, even elementary school students can do it today.
The first Minecraft x Codesmine creation contest
